"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."— 2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV
Good Morning Agape Family — The Holy Spirit says: This is your BECOMING season. You have been defined by what you WERE — what you went through, what you used to do, what they used to call you. But Heaven is not calling you by your history, Heaven is calling you by your DESTINY. God says, you shall not just get over it, you shall BECOME beyond it. You shall become what I saw when I formed you. The mirror is changing because YOU are changing!
YOU SHALL BECOME — ginomai (to come into being, to transition) Ginomai is not imitation, it's incarnation. God is not asking you to act like it, He's making you BECOME it. Abram didn't act like a father of many nations, God changed his name and his nature and he BECAME Abraham. Stop trying to perform who you are becoming — you ARE becoming. This is not behavior modification, this is divine transformation. You shall become!
CHANGED INTO THE SAME IMAGE — metamorphoo (to be transfigured, metamorphosed) This is the same word used for Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration! It's metamorphosis. A caterpillar doesn't try harder to fly, it becomes a butterfly. God says, you have been trying to improve the old you, but I'm birthing a NEW you. You are not going back to who you were — you are being changed into who He is. The old image is breaking. The new image is emerging!
FROM GLORY TO GLORY — doxa eis doxa (from one degree of glory to the next) You don't become all at once, you become glory to glory. God is not rushing you, He is building you. Every trial, every prayer, every yes has been adding another layer of glory. What looked like delay was development. The Lord says to Agape: This Wednesday, I am moving you to the next glory. What you couldn't carry last season, you can carry now because you have BECOME more.
EVEN AS BY THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD — pneuma kyriou (by the breath, wind, spirit of God) You cannot become by willpower, you become by Spirit-power. Pneuma is the breath that hovered in Genesis 1 and turned void into victory. That same Spirit is hovering over you right now. You shall not become by striving, you shall become by surrender — beholding Him. As you behold Him, you become like Him. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and becoming is inevitable!
Prophetic Word For You Today
The Lord says, tell Agape — I am renaming this house. I called you Agape because you would become LOVE in a loveless world. But now I am calling you forth into what you SHALL BECOME. You have been faithful in the little, now I will make you ruler over much. I hear the Spirit say: Some of you have been stuck between who you were and who you're supposed to be. God says, the in-between is ending. You shall BECOME the intercessor, the leader, the husband, the wife, the mother, the father, the entrepreneur, the pastor I ordained before you were born. Do not abort the becoming. Genesis 17:5 — No longer Abram, now Abraham. No longer barren, now fruitful. No longer forgotten, now father of many. Your new name is your new nature. You shall become!
Today’s Declaration
Declare it morning, noon, and night (3x): I am becoming! I am not who I was, I am becoming who God says I am. I am changed into His image, from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord. My old name is gone, my new nature is here. I shall become in Jesus' mighty name! Amen!
