My Father’s Business
"And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?" - Luke 2:49 KJV
At 12 years old, Jesus was not confused about His assignment. While others were busy with customs and caravans, He was consumed with Kingdom. Today, the Father is recalibrating your focus. This is not a season to be busy — it is a season to be about BUSINESS — your Father's business. There is a divine shift from self-agenda to Kingdom agenda, from survival to assignment.
4 Prophetic Revelations
1. DEI - THE DIVINE MUST / NECESSITY
Greek: deh-ee
It is necessary, it must be, divine compulsion. This was not a suggestion for Jesus, it was a spiritual law. There is a MUST on your life that hell cannot cancel. God is awakening the DEI anointing in you — a holy compulsion where you can no longer be comfortable outside your assignment. You MUST be about Kingdom!
2. PATROS MOU - MY FATHER - SONSHIP REVEALED
Greek: pa-TROS moo
Of My Father. Jesus was not a servant in the house, He was a son in the Father's house. Kingdom work flows from sonship, not slavery. When you know whose you are, you know what you must do. The Father is moving you from hired help to heir, from worker to son. Sons don't visit the business, they inherit it.
3. EN TOIS - IN THE THINGS / AFFAIRS - DWELLING IN HIS HOUSE
Greek: EN TOIS TOU PATROS - en tois
In the things, affairs, matters, house, courts of my Father. The same phrase can mean 'in my Father's house.' Family, you were never meant to visit God, you were meant to LIVE in His affairs. God is pulling you out of distraction and planting you in His presence and purpose. Where your Father's business is, is where you belong.
4. ERGON BASILEIAS - KINGDOM WORK - OCCUPATION OF HEAVEN
Greek: ergon - work, deed, occupation / basileaia - Kingdom, royal rule
Your Father's business is not a side hustle, it is your true occupation. John 9:4 says 'I must work the works of Him that sent me.' God is anointing your hands for Kingdom occupation — souls, discipleship, building, intercession. This week, Heaven is giving you Kingdom projects that will outlive you.
Prophetic Word For You Today
Thus saith the Lord: I am breaking the spirit of busyness that has kept you spinning and pulling you back into true BUSINESS. For many have been occupied with many things, but I am calling you back to the ONE THING that is your Father's heart. I am aligning your calendar with My Kingdom agenda. Doors that were closed to your personal ambition will open to your Kingdom assignment. This month, I will show you that when you are about My business, I will be about yours. Your family, your finances, your future — I will handle them while you handle My House. Seek first the Kingdom, and all these things shall be added. I am raising up sons and daughters in Agape who will say as Jesus said — I MUST be about My Father's business — and I will back them with My power, My provision, and My presence.
Today’s Declaration
Say it out loud 4x (with fire!):
I AM A SON/DAUGHTER IN MY FATHER'S HOUSE! I HAVE A DIVINE MUST ON MY LIFE! I AM ABOUT MY FATHER'S BUSINESS AND MY FATHER IS ABOUT MY BUSINESS! I AM ALIGNED, ASSIGNED, AND ANOINTED FOR KINGDOM WORK IN JESUS' NAME!
