"Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me." - Micah 7:8 KJV
REJOICE NOT AGAINST ME — The enemy doesn’t get the final word. God says your fall is not your funeral. The enemy was counting you out, but Heaven is counting you IN. This setback is a setup for a comeback. Don't let the chatter of the enemy narrate your ending.
WHEN I FALL, I SHALL ARISE — naphal & qum naphal (‘naphal’ means to fall, to be knocked down by life. ‘qum’ means to rise, to stand up, to establish, to become) God never said you wouldn't fall — He said falling wouldn't be final. Agape, the same God who allowed the knockdown has anointed you for the get-up. You fell forward, not backward.
WHEN I SIT IN DARKNESS — yashab chosek yashab (‘yashab’ is sitting in a season, not just a moment. ‘chosek’ is that dark, confusing place where you can't see your next) Prophet says — even when you are seated in darkness, you are still SEATED in purpose. Darkness is not your home, it's your hallway to light. God does His best work in dark rooms developing your destiny.
THE LORD SHALL BE A LIGHT UNTO ME — YHWH OR OR is not just light, it's illumination, revelation, and fire! The Lord doesn't just send light — He IS the light. When you couldn't find your way, He became the way. When your strength ran out, His light lifted you. This light doesn't just shine on you, it shines in you and through you.
Prophetic Word For You Today
Family, I hear the Lord saying — This is your GET-UP season. Life knocked you down with bills, with betrayal, with burnout, with bad news. Some of you have been knocked down in your mind, knocked down in your marriage, knocked down in your health. But God says — get up.
You are not down for the count. Heaven has not counted you out. Proverbs 24:16 says a just man falleth seven times and riseth again — you are righteous even when you are knocked down! Seven is the number of completion — meaning you can fall completely and still rise completely!
The Lord says to Agape — dust yourself off, your destiny still needs you. Your children need the standing version of you. Your ministry needs the rising version of you. The knockdown taught you how to fight from the floor — now rise with revelation!
Today’s Declaration
Declare this in the morning:
I may have fallen, but I shall arise! My falling is not final!
The Lord is my light in darkness — I will not sit in darkness forever!
When life knocks me down, grace picks me up — I get up and keep going!
I love you, I'm praying for you — Get up, Agape! Your light has come!
