Coming With Rain

"Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you." - Hosea 10:12 KJV

Prophetic Word For You Today

God is speaking to you today about your season and your soil. This is not a casual word — this is a farming word. God says what you are willing to sow and break up today will determine what He is about to rain on you tomorrow. Heaven is ready to rain, but God is calling you to get your ground ready.

1. Sow To Yourselves In Righteousness

The word sow is zara — to scatter seed with intention. God says don't wait for someone else to sow into you — sow to YOURSELF. Speak right, live right, plant right when no one is watching. Righteousness is tsedeq — right standing and right living. Every time you choose obedience over convenience, you are planting a seed that mercy will have to harvest.

2. Break Up Your Fallow Ground

Nir — ground that has become hard, unused, crusted over. Fallow ground is not bad ground, it's just neglected ground. God says there are areas in your heart, your family, your calling that you stopped working because it hurt or disappointed you. Today God says pick the plow back up. Break up that hardness with prayer, with worship, with forgiveness. God can't plant in hard ground, but He can transform broken ground.

3. For It Is Time To Seek The Lord

Et — this is the appointed time, the now time. Darash — to seek diligently, to pursue until you find. God says this is not the season to seek opinions, options, or escape — it's time to seek the LORD. When you seek Him, you don't just get answers, you get Himself. And when you have Him, you have everything. Don't miss your time because you were distracted.

4. Till He Come and Rain Righteousness Upon You

Yarah — to pour, to shoot as an arrow, a heavy rain. This is not a drizzle, this is a downpour. God says if you sow, if you break up, if you seek — I WILL COME. He is not sending rain, He is coming WITH the rain. And when He comes, He will rain righteousness — right things, right doors, right relationships, right harvest — upon you. Your seeking triggers His raining.

Prophetic Word For You Today

The Lord says, "I have seen the ground you thought was dead. I have seen the seeds you sowed in tears when no one clapped for you. This is your rain season. Because you chose righteousness over revenge, because you broke up what others walked away from, because you sought Me when it was easier to quit — I am coming with rain. What was fallow is about to become fruitful. What was hard is about to become harvest. Get ready for My rain of righteousness."

Today’s Declaration

Say this aloud today: I declare I will sow in righteousness! I break up every fallow ground in my life — no more hardness, no more holding back. It is MY time to seek the Lord and I will seek Him diligently. He is coming with rain and He will rain righteousness upon me, my house, and all that concerns me. My ground is ready and my harvest is coming! In Jesus' name, Amen.
